Tim Blane, Musician

Armed with pop hooks, a soulful voice and a songwriting style seeped in jazz, rock and blues. Blane has a sound both refreshing and memorable. “You’re way better than the usual white guy with an acoustic guitar!” is something Tim hears often. Just this past year Tim played dates on the Crocs college tour with One Republic and Fabulous and was voted to play 2008, Radio 92.9 Earthfest with Cake and Cracker. He’s also played shows with Guste, KT Tunstall, Mike Doughty, Art Hest and Tristan Prettyman. Tim’s been nominated for a Boston Music Award and received airplay on Boston stations WBOS and WXRV. He made it to the finals of the Starbucks/NEMO Songwriting Competition for the second year in a row and was featured in Miller Genuine Draft’s “The Craft” promotion.
