FREE CONCERT! Centralia College Vocal Ensembles & Jazz Band

Come enjoy an evening of jazz and Disney music on Monday, June 9th presented by ensembles from Centralia College. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm with jazz music performed by the Centralia College Jazz Band and at 7:30 pm Disney music performed by the Centralia College Vocal Ensembles. The concert will be at the Harrison Square Presbyterian Church and admission is free of charge. Enjoy classic Disney favorites such as, "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio," Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins, "Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah" from Song of the South," I Wanna Be Like You", and "The Bare Necessities" from The Jungle Book, and "Cruella De Vil" from 101 Dalmations. The group will also perform "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King, and "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. Rounding out the program will be popular songs from some of Disney's newest features including "Touch the Sky" from Brave, "I See the Light" from Tangled, and "Let it Go" from Frozen. Another great addition to the evening's vocal program will be accompaniment by flute, violin, cello, guitar, bass and percussion. A free will offering will be collected for the Centralia College Music Department practice room piano fund. This event is sponsored by Pro Musica, the student music club at Centralia College.
