Urban and community forests provide numerous economic, environmental, social, and health benefits to our communities. In order to support the health of urban forestlands, it is important for citizens to be involved in the stewardship of community forests.
Volunteers are invited to help plant trees in Borst Park or remove litter and brush from along the Borst Park trails and Rhodie gardens.
Come join to make a difference in one of your community forests, learn about the trees in our local arboretum, explore the Borst Heirloom WSU Master Gardener Demonstration garden, and help plant trees for tomorrow during this fun filled morning of service and natural resource education for the entire family!
